The rise of RPG pen and paper games, that culminated in the coming of age of sword and sorcery, which branched out into Sci-Fi and and Cyber Punk coming of age right behind it. Cruising was still a thing, because people didn't complain about shit like they do today, so the Police weren't running everyone off. You could get away with a lot more as a kid as well, things that people today would call CPS on your parents for. We weren't tied to the phone and a computer 24/7. The toys were so much better, you had G.I. Joes and toy guns that looked real. It all started to fall apart by 1993, and by the mid 2000's we are where we are today. Filled with pansy ass SJW's who want to suck off the Governments titts.

And now we are nostalgic for those days gone when we could just be, anything other than what we are in the world as it is, our daily, time-eroding glimpse into how much worse it can all get, even as time, and our lives, paradoxically stand still.
Ever since the lockdown began, it felt suffocated even though I quarantined with a bunch of friends. I gave a lot of music try: old favourites, friends' jam, releases by own friends and what not. But this felt like the most calming thing that I'd secretly been yearning for. You have no idea how thankful my mental health is to you.
Does anyone get a runaway kind of vibe from this? It makes me feel strangely nostalgic for a place I don’t know and makes me feel as though I’m gonna ride off into the night leaving city lights behind me, with just me and the radio
With this kind of music, I get a hot air balloon 🎈, a dj equipment, and a team 🌌🎛️🎧📢in the early morning or at night in the middle of the city while people walk, go shopping or are sitting eating in a restaurant , I go up to pure volume 😎👌.
This is my happy place driving in my 90s My Japanese sports car at night as I do every day after work and I completely just chill out and forget about all my problems

That video is rad! Synthwave takes me back to my childhood in the 80s. I was born in December 1975 but consider myself an 80s kid because I just don’t remember much of the late 70s.
As a student of IT and someone in their 30's having still not built a PC, but also someone who came from a music background... I think my first PC build will be centered around Pro Tools to make this type of music. Completely in love over the last couple years and who knows, maybe one day you can put my tracks in your mixes!
